Man Killed for Stabbing a Distant Lover
An enraged crowd in Murang’a County beat a guy to death after he stabbed his lover, who he had split up with. The man was allegedly lynched in Maragua Ridge, Murang’a, by a mob.
According to reports, the Gatanga man sent spies to his lover’s house in Gichagi-ini, Maragua Ridge Constituency, Murang’a county, with the intention of killing her.
People nearby reportedly stopped the man as he attempted to attack the girl’s mother while she was on the farm.
He proceeded to the girl’s homestead and proceeded to stab her, inflicting potentially fatal wounds.
The two lovers had broken up for more than a year before the man arrived at the girls’ house.
The lady has since been taken to Muranga Level Five Hospital where she receives treatment.
The girl’s mother confirming the incident stated that the man stabbed her daughter five times in the ribs.
Witnesses have further alleged that the man had unidentified pills in his pocket.
Prior incidences of such magnitude have been reported in the recent past in the county of Murang’a

The populace was advised not to take matters into their own hands by the responding law enforcement officers.
