The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service announced on Wednesday that the Kenya Medical and Training College application portal will be closing.
at a statement, KUCCPS stated that candidates who wish to enroll at KMTC colleges around the nation will no longer be able to use the application system when it closes on July 12.

Additionally, KUCCPS disclosed that applicants for courses at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) could check the status of their applications online.
The Service also issued a list of 23 courses that students can apply to study at KMTC campuses.
The list contains both Certificate and Diploma courses with which the Placement Service has set cluster points available on the portal.
Students can pursue a Diploma or a Certificate in Medical Engineering under the engineering program.
The following certificate programs are available to students: Community Health Assistants, Orthopedic Trauma Medicine, and Health Records and Information Technology.
A certificate program in medical emergency technician or nutrition and dietetics is another option.
On-campus options include diploma programs in public health, health counseling, physiotherapy, health records and information technology, and health counseling.
It is also recommended that candidates apply if they are willing to attend an optometry and dental technology course.
This is a response to the July 4 deadline for inter-institutional transfers for students enrolled in degree programs.
