List of Promoted Deputies and Transfered Principals

In the recent reshuffle orchestrated by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), various Principals and Deputy Principals have witnessed transfers and promotions. The Taita Taveta TSC County Director, Dr. Esther Njiru, meticulously compiled a comprehensive list detailing the handovers and takeovers.

One significant change is that Gilbert Karisa was replaced as head of Voi Boys High School by Patrick Wambua, a former student of Mbele Secondary School in Voi Sub-county. Luka Kota Mghenyi, in turn, has assumed leadership at Mbele Secondary School. After working at Taita sub-county’s Mwakiwiwi Secondary School, Marylyn Mwadomu took over as principal of Voi’s Olops School, replacing Grace Lesilale. In a same vein, Joseph Ndalo has been replaced as head of Mrabenyi Secondary School in Mwatate sub-county by Mark Attandi.

Mwatate sub-county also saw changes with Christopher Boli becoming the new Principal of Mwanga High School, replacing Mary Wanjohi, while Antony Mutinda has taken charge at Mwanyambo Secondary School, succeeding Mwasaga Janji. Dennis Wambua Kimoja, formerly at Kajungunyi Secondary School in Taita, has taken over Munda Secondary School from Mercy Katana, and Mombo David has assumed leadership at Mzwanenyi Secondary School, succeeding Martha Katana.

In Mwangoji Secondary School, Elpina Chao handed over to Geoffrey Mburu after being transferred from PJ Mwangola School in Taita sub-county. Caroly Mwashimba is now the Principal of Zare Secondary School, succeeding Antony Mutinda, who moved to Mwanyambo Secondary School.

Taita sub-county experienced shifts as well, with Difence Mwalugha taking over from Mburu in PJ Mwangola School. Mwakitele Maygladys handed over the leadership of Mdondonyi Secondary School to Mwazuna Mwakio, and Marylyn Mwadomu, now at Olops School in Voi, passed the baton to Emily Sau as the new Principal.

Kimoja Denis Wambua, now at Munda Secondary School in Mwatate, has handed over the leadership of Kajungunyi Secondary School to Okowa Thadeus Ochieng. Graffin Mwagesha, who heads to Mghalu Secondary School in Taveta, has taken over from Douglas Mkongo, who was transferred from Chala Secondary School.

David Muteti is replaced as principal of Bishop Njenga Secondary School in Taveta by Grace Lesilale. Graffin Mwagesha has taken over from Douglas Mkongo, who was transferred to Mghalu Secondary School in the same sub-county.The Executive Secretary of KUPPET Taita Taveta, Ismael Omoke, praised TSC for elevating Deputy Principals and urged the Commission to give teachers who have long stayed in one job group the same opportunity.
