How to Check and Download 2024 Form One Admission Letter

Ezekiel Machogu, the cabinet secretary for education, recently revealed the results  of the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam, which attracted  1,406,557 participants.

The announcement from CS Machogu highlighted that all eligible candidates would be assigned to various national, extra-county, and county schools throughout the country. The placement criterion would consider the preferences of the candidates, the availability of openings in individual schools, and merit as decisive factors.

To facilitate the download of form one admission letters for the 2024 secondary school intake, candidates from the 2023 KCPE cohort have two methods at their disposal.

1. Verifying Online Form One Placement – Go to the Education Ministry Online Services official website. – Enter the school category-specific KCPE Index number. Indicate the county and  sub-county the candidate took the KCPE, then adhere to the guidelines given.

2. Using SMS to Verify Form One Placement – Get your phone’s Messages app open. – Text 22263 with your KCPE index number. After processing is complete, you will get an email letting you know which  school you were accepted to. – Note: This SMS service is valid for Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom networks; there is  a 25 shilling charge for it.

In order to obtain online form one admission letters, applicants should:

– Enter into the Ministry of Education’s official website. – Take these actions: Select the county and sub-county where the candidate took the KCPE Exams, click “Form One Selection,” enter  the Index Number, and submit. You can also choose the school category (National,  Extra, or County School). – Select “Admission Letter” and save it to your PC. – Click “Print” when the downloaded file has opened. – Present your headteacher with the printed admission letter so they can sign it.

When reporting to secondary school on the designated date, pupils must always  remember to provide a stamped copy of their admission letter and a copy of their  original  birth certificate.
