We provide details on the 2024 Form One Selection in this post, including links to online and SMS shortcode placement results. We also walk you through the process of printing the Form One Admission Letter for 2024 online and downloading it.

The Form One Selection Process for 2024 admission for the 2023 KCPE candidates is underway, placing them in various secondary schools. Selected candidates are expected to report to their assigned schools in July 2024 when the academic year commences.

In the 2023 KCPE, candidates who scored more than 400 out of 500 are being  placed in the high schools of their choice. The 136 National Schools are the first stop on the placement process, after which  come Extra-County Schools, County Schools, and Sub-County Schools at a later time.

How to Check Form One Selection 2024 for 2023 KCPE Candidates

SMS Shortcode

1. 2023 KCSE Candidates can check their placement by sending the candidate’s number to 22263 via SMS.

2. An SMS response containing 2024 Form One selection details will be received.

3. The cost per SMS is Ksh.25 to all mobile networks.

Online via Ministry of Education Website

1. Visit www.education.go.ke, the Ministry of Education website.

2. Select “Online Services” on the Top Menu, move to “Form One Selection,” and click on it.

3. Choose National, Extra-County, or County Schools.

4. Select the County and Sub-county where the candidate sat their examinations.

5. Enter the candidate’s number and click Submit.

6. The results will be displayed in a template format showing the candidate’s name, index number, KCPE marks obtained, Sub-County, selected school, and school type.

How to Download 2024 Form One Admission Letters

Follow these steps to download the 2024 Form One Admission Letter for the 2023 KCPE Candidate:

1. Follow the above steps to check form one selection details on the Ministry of Education website.

2. At step 7, find the “admission letter” link at the bottom of the page and click on it.

3. Download or print the admission letter using the respective icons.

4. Take the printed letter to the primary school, where the headteacher will endorse and stamp it as needed.
