World’s leading terrorists – Museveni
The embassies of the United States and the United Kingdom have come under fire from President Yoweri Museveni for telling their nationals not to travel to Uganda due to fears of terrorism.
In a remark regarding the just finished Nyege Nyege event in Jinja districts, Museveni stated that the government, not outsiders, should provide any advice.
“I’ve heard that fearful Americans and British issued what they refer to as advice to their nationals telling them not to travel to Uganda. These people make mistakes. We, not the British and Americans, should be the ones telling people not to travel to Uganda if the situation was that bad.
Even in the event of an error, we are aware of how to respond. Museveni stated, “These recommendations from some of these individuals are another way that these elements are interfering with our domestic affairs. The president stated that the West is to blame for even the terrorism that exists throughout most of Africa and other regions.
“Some of the actors that aspire to be global policeman are responsible for some of the terrorism in Africa, either via creation or conservation. Some of these players are to blame for the anarchy that has gripped Libya and the neighboring Sahelian nations (Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria, Chad, etc.). Over the past 20 years, the UN, which is ruled by some of these, has been working on a mission to conserve terrorism in the Eastern Congo.
According to Museveni, “It is astounding how the UN can watch over and live with murderers of Congolese and Ugandans in the Eastern Congo for the past 20 years and they are not bothered at all.”
Museveni expressed gratitude to Uganda’s security services for ensuring that the Nyege Nyege celebration concluded smoothly and without any significant incidents. He did, however, acknowledge that there was reliable information suggesting that certain outside parties had made an attempt to infiltrate the event.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the security forces for their effective protection of the alleged sinners of Nyege Nyege in Jinja up until the end of their function, without any incidents.
This demonstrates the resilience of Uganda’s security system in the face of terrorist threats, as evidenced by its ability to protect such a lengthy and widely publicized event.
It is true that the ADF’s pigs in the Congo sent a couple of infiltrators to try and stop the suspected sinners from doing their work, according to Museveni.
On a more humorous side, Museveni questioned why the grasshoppers were not showing up halfway through November, the month in which they are supposed to appear.
