TSC Documents Verification Promotions Interviews
Interviews for a number of school administrative roles, including Senior Teachers, Senior Masters, Deputy Headteachers, Deputy Principals, Headteachers, and Principals, are expected to be held by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in December 2023.
TSC places administrators in elementary and secondary schools as well as teacher training colleges (TTCs), which include special and ordinary schools. During the interview process, individuals seeking promotions must provide seven crucial papers for validation:
1. Original National ID Card
2. Original Academic and Professional Certificates
3. Letter of Appointment to the Current Grade
4. Letter of Appointment to the Current Post (if applicable)
5. Analyzed individual subject results in KCPE/KCSE Examinations for the last three years certified by TSC County Director/Sub County Director
6. Teacher Performance Appraisal (TPAD) Reports for the last three years
7. Any other relevant testimonials supporting performance
Additionally, successful candidates may need to provide five mandatory documents aligned with Chapter six of the Kenyan Constitution on leadership and integrity. These include:
1. Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board
2. Tax Compliance Certificate from KRA
3. Clearance from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
4. Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
5. Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations
