TSC Internship Vacancies For Teachers
TSC Announces Internship Vacancies For Teachers. The online application gateway for internships in the Northeastern counties has been reopened by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
This initiative is in response to the mass exit of teachers from these areas, and it aims to improve the quality of education delivery.
Intern teachers in Garisa, Mandera, Wajir, and Tanariver counties, regardless of their initial employment date, are considered senior interns and are awaiting confirmation by the end of this year. Those who accepted the TSC internship contract stand a higher chance of employment due to the skills they acquire during their internship.
These open slots provide recent education graduates with the opportunity to gain teaching experience while contributing to the country’s educational progress. The internship program also benefits individuals seeking recruitment opportunities in the teaching sector after completing their teacher training.
Interested applicants should visit the TSC online recruitment portal to submit their applications. All applicants must meet TSC’s qualifications, including completing teacher training from recognized institutions and possessing a valid TSC registration number, among other requirements.
Merit and fit for the posted roles will be the main criteria used by TSC to choose interns. After statutory deductions, intern teachers get a monthly stipend of Ksh. 20,000, which translates to a net wage of Ksh. 17,000 per month.
