ODM Has Best Brains in Kenya for Policy Making: Ruto’s CS
On Saturday, February 10, Gender Cabinet Secretary (CS) Aisha Jumwa said that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) produced the best policymakers in Kenya. Speaking in Busia County, the CS disclosed how different government departments relied on the intellect to produce operational strategies.
According to Aisha Jumwa, the area needs to figure out how to leverage its intellectual resources to gain important political seats. She said, “I was telling James Orengo (Siaya Governor) that the majority of ODM supporters, particularly from Nyanza and Busia, are the most learned people—they are highly regarded professors, engineers, and lawyers.”
They are the ones who make all the contributions. They are quite good at creating policies if you ask them to.The timing, she continued, was right for the area to realize that it was going down the wrong political route and that it needed to reconsider.
Jumwa observed in a figurative manner that the only sensible thing to do when you strike a wall is to reverse your orientation. She therefore asked the people of Nyanza to choose an alternative political course for the general election of 2027.
“Luo Nyanza produces the best doctors, engineers, etc. The area is home to all of Kenya’s bright minds,” she said. ODM has been regularly invited by President William Ruto and other members of the Kenya Kwanza cabinet to submit their strategy for national governance.
Kenya Kwanza contends that the opposition ought to provide options to lessen the burden on Kenyans rather than whining about the high expense of living. In November 2023, Raila said that lowering taxes on Kenyans was one approach to lower the country’s high cost of living. He also recommended President Ruto to reduce government spending by Ksh 500 billion and boost output.
