Following her son’s mysterious death on Friday, February 9 at a Machakos school, a mother from Machakos County is demanding justice.The mother, who took to social media, disclosed that she had left her child off at the Katani school on this specific day as normal. She would subsequently watch for him to be dropped off by the school bus at 4 pm, but to her amazement, he was not there.

She heard from the school by phone about half an hour later, and they told her that her kid had died.According to her account, the mother said that the school told her that her son had perished in an accident. Dissatisfied with this justification, she went to the school to ask the administration questions.

“I was called to the road to witness my dead son. We as a family have attempted to get the school to clarify this, but the principal  has been silent in our requests,” she said. She has made an effort to get in touch with other school parents in order to get  more information after the occurrence. She also asked the school’s students to tell her about the particular day’s  occurrences.

In order to help her obtain justice for her son, the distraught mother also requested  Kenyans to assist her in raising awareness of the issue on a national level. She declared that she doesn’t believe the school’s justification and is aggressively  looking for information to help her obtain justice. “Whatever happened to my son?” asked the mother.

In expressing their condolences, Kenyans have asked the appropriate authorities to  look into the matter and detain all of the guilty parties.Kenyans questioned the  circumstances surrounding the death of the woman’s son in online comments. Kenyans demanded an explanation from the school management about what  transpired.

This comes after the undetermined death of a Form One pupil from Kilungu Boys  in Makueni County in January. Later, the school administration disclosed that the child’s sickness ultimately led  to his death in the hospital. After only ten days after reporting to school, the pupil passed away. His parents thought that he was being bullied too much. Nevertheless, an autopsy performed at the Chiromo Mortuary would subsequently  verify that the student’s cause of death was an illness.
