2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)
The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has revealed the timetable for the October and November 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination.
All of the KCSE 2024 exams will be given in November. It is scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2024, to be the candidates’ rehearsal day. The official 2024 KCSE examination date is Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
The exam will be conducted from beginning to end on Friday, November 22, 2024. Keep in mind that teachers should submit results in accordance with criteria for Practical disciplines such as Agriculture, Computer, Arts, Woodworking, and Metalworking, among others, which are already running.
The list of Project papers include ;
- Art and Design (442/3),
- Agriculture (443/3)
- Woodwork (444/2)
- Metalwork (445/2)
- Building Construction (446/2)
- Computer Studies (451/3)
These practical papers are slated to run for 7 months beginning January 2024 to July 2024.
All Secondary Schools with with candidates doing the listed practicals are asked to upload marks for project subjects by 31st March for Milestone One.
Marks for the second milestone will be turned in on July 31, 2024. The 30-day 2024 KCSE exams will conclude with a practical examination in physics on November 22, 2024.
Practical papers, which are carried out by few students, will be the first part of the 2024 KCSE test.

- French (Oral)
- German (Oral)
- Arabic (oral)
- Kenyan Sign Language
- Music Practical
In the last week of examinations, learners will sit for Physics, Business Studies and Agriculture subjects.
All students would be free to depart their particular university after finishing their exams following this exercise. You can get the official KCSE 2024 KNEC timetable at the knec.ac.ke homepage. Because the final cohort completed the exams last year, 2023, there won’t be any Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams this year.
