KUCCPS Reports High Traffic in Placement Portal
Following several problems that were reported, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has provided an explanation for why KCSE 2023 aspirants are experiencing difficulties accessing the application online. In response to the worries, KUCCPS stated that because of heavy traffic, students were having trouble submitting their applications.
Students were urged to keep applying through the system until they were successful, despite the difficulties. We regret any inconvenience this has caused. The KUCCPS application portal is now available. KUCCPS said, “Despite the heavy traffic, we encourage you to keep monitoring.
On Thursday, the application portal opened to all KCSE 2023 candidates applying to different post-secondary institutions at different levels.Remarkably, 899,453 pupils took the national exams in 2023. However, the high traffic observed can be explained by the fact that the service is also accessible to KCSE applicants who took their exams between 2000 and 2022.
Students who needed assistance with their application were encouraged to attend one of the nation’s many Huduma Centers in the interim.Nairobi (GPO), Eldoret, Nakuru, Kisumu, Nyeri, Garissa, Kakamega, Meru, Kitale, Thika, Mombasa, Isiolo, Narok, Laikipia, and Kitui were the 15 centers that were listed.
All of the cyber cafes inside Huduma Center will also offer assistance.”In addition to the KUCCPS offices and the application support desks at the institutions, applicants who require assistance should visit any of the following Huduma Centres,” according to a portion of the announcement.
The application portal will remain accessible until February 22, 2024, according to KUCCPS.
Tip for Students
Given the heavy traffic during the day, students may try to submit their applications at night, between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., when the majority of individuals are sleeping.Additionally, when creating applications, make sure your network is steady.
