Two weeks ago, another fire incident reported in Kabete killed two children aged two years and four years.

According to a neighbour, the mother had left the children in the house to pick up luggage from the bus stop.

Investigations done were inconclusive, as witnesses presumed faulty electricity wires might have caused the fire.

A six-year-old child perished on Christmas Day when a residence in the Kayole police quarters  caught fire.

According to police reports, the deceased’s sister underwent intensive medical care  at Kenyatta National Hospital after a police officer was hurt while attempting to save her.
