It has been claimed that a KCSE candidate passed away just minutes prior to her exam.Tuesday, at Siaya Medical Hospital, Mercy Stacy Juma, a student at Boro Secondary School, passed away. She was due to take her afternoon tests after being admitted to the facility on Monday night, precisely ten minutes before she passed away.
“She passed on at 1350hrs at Siaya Medical Hospital Where she had been admitted after complaining of severe diarrhea and vomiting,” a police OB report filed at Siaya Police Station read in part.
Stacy was scheduled to take her examinations at the hospital at 1400 hours, according to the police.According to lab test results, the dead student had kidney failure, the police report states.
When Siaya police station officers arrived on the scene, they verified the occurrences.The Siaya Medical Center has saved the remains of the students that passed away.This is the most recent catastrophe to affect the KCSE exam for 2023. It happened soon after a teacher in Wajir lost her life after being struck by a helicopter propeller. At the time, the deputy head instructor oversaw an exam center. As the teacher got off the helicopter, one of its propellers struck him.
