KCSE & KPSEA Registration Deadline

The KCSE and KPSEA exam registration deadline is set in ground, and the Kenya National Examination Council wants you to know this. Yes, it will remain on March 29, which is less than a week away, people. Parents and guardians are urged to jump on it and register their children as soon as possible, making sure all the necessary information is accurately entered.

Nor are they holding back when speaking—that registration portal? There won’t be any place for late arrivals as it will be closing its doors on March 29. Furthermore, after that deadline passes, don’t bother changing out the pictures of KCSE candidates.

Knec has a straightforward message for parents: visit your child’s school to make sure everything is in order with their registration. Are you missing these tests? That is not acceptable.

Also, if you’ve had your eye on the KILEA and KPSEA exams, you can register for  these back in January. Like previous year, David Njengere, the head of Knec, makes sure that Grade 6  students register for the assessment from scratch. You will be completing your registration using the KPSEA Registration online;  however, take note that this portal will close on March 29, 2024, without exception. And those tests? The dates are set for October 28 to October 31, 2024. What’s going on with KILEA now? The main goal is to prepare students in the Intermediate Level for the Pre-vocational Level.

But wait, Njengere has a warning for you: don’t even consider bringing in phantom candidates. Such behavior is considered a major infraction, and institutions that engage in it run the risk of facing harsh repercussions, including removal from the list of exam centers.

In addition, he is reminding school administrators to double check applicant information. And transfers, huh? Only permitted during the registration process, so act quickly.

The catch for KPSEA candidates is that in order to receive an assessment number, they must first register on the Grade 6 portal. No registration, no number. As easy as that. Oh, and the Grades 4 and 5 SBA results also need to be uploaded by the schools. Not to be forgotten!
