278,006 students have been chosen by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) to enroll in a variety of public and private universities.

According to Agnes Mercy Wahome, CEO of the placement board, of these, 220,684 were assigned to degree programs at public colleges, and 57, 322 will attend private universities.

A little over 17,005 people fulfill the requirements to enroll in TVET programs provided by universities, despite the fact that the Ministry of Education (MoE) is in charge of 733,063 TVET establishments.

TVET programs administered by non-Ministry of Education groups enrolled 19,752 students. 2,210 students will pursue diplomas in senior teacher education, a profession in which 11,598 fewer students will seek certification than in elementary teacher education.
