TSC Releases Two Types Of Letters After Promotion
Following the promotions, TSC releases two different kinds of letters. Following the release of the promotion outcomes for these teachers, TSC is currently distributing two tiers of letters to the more than 100,000 primary and post-primary school teachers who were selected for interviews in the previous year.
The first level of promotional letters will be sent to the 36,505 successful teachers who were promoted.
TSC claims that these teachers were the ones that prevailed in the interviews that were held in December 2023 and January 2024.
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) officials said that the commission has started to send letters to various TSC county offices for collection.
The second level of letters are addressed to the teachers who attended the interviews but were not chosen. The commission stated that these instructors, who played a crucial role in answering the request for interviews, will get regret letters.
The regret letters will be used as proof of the teacher’s desire for a promotion, which could benefit them when the position of interview is opened up again.
Additionally, keep in mind that regret letters from specific teachers should be kept private since they may affect their ability to apply for promotions in the future.
Evidence on five Chapter 6 documents will be required of those who are called to pick up their promotional letters in order for them to finish the procedure and allow posting to begin.
Teachers whose names were on the list of people promoted should arrange to get the list of required chapter six documents, since some may ask for payment. The whole price of the required, authentic Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), for instance, comes to Ksh1,050.
Moreover, sh. 2,200 is currently required in order to receive an authorized Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate.
