Salary Scale For P1 Teachers Deployed To JSS. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is anticipated to assign the third group of qualified PTE teachers to C2, where they will begin teaching in junior high schools in May 2024 and get better pay scales.

As soon as the corresponding TSC Sub-County Directors have completed the document verification and inspection procedure, these teachers will be assigned to classrooms.

In order to guarantee that only qualified educators are posted with authentic documents, the employer of teachers is also obliged to carefully check the documentation of teachers at the teachers’ headquarters.

Every attempt is being made by SC to address the teacher shortage that most junior secondary schools are experiencing.

According to the commission’s findings, there are currently 99,045 fewer teachers working in classrooms than there were when they hired them.In response to the scarcity, the commission has doubled the number of deployment slots available to primary school teachers who are currently employed and have degrees in secondary education. Interested parties may apply online by March 18, 2024, to be considered.

The junior secondary school division will receive the hired instructors’ assignment early in the upcoming term. The commission is facing a great deal of pressure to allocate more teachers to junior secondary schools in order to alleviate the acute teacher shortage that is currently occurring.

Job group C1 comprises a number of primary school teachers who were deployed to junior secondary schools on both the first and second occasions. There are also teachers in employment groups C3 and C4, among others.
