Procedure to Replace Lost KNEC Certificate
Procedure to Replace Lost KNEC Certificate
For candidates who took KNEC examinations beginning in 1981, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) implemented a program to replace lost certificates.
But KNEC no longer issues duplicate certificates; instead, it replaces lost certificates with results confirmation.
The manual certificate replacement process has been completely transferred to an online platform.
A year ago, KNEC implemented a simple online process to make it easier to replace misplaced KCPE or KCSE credentials.
The online KCPE or KCSE certificate replacement process is explained in the step-by-step guide that follows.
It is noteworthy that similar protocols also apply to lost college credentials, such as the Primary Teacher Education (PTE) credential.
KCPE – Kenya Certificate of Primary Education
KCSE – Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education
