KCSE Results Release Date Announced by KNEC
The public has been informed of the test schedule for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in 2023. Exams for 903,260 candidates were held in phases. Projects were given from January to July 2023, and then oral, practical, and theory papers were given from October 23 to November 24 at specified testing locations.
Different officials were given varied responsibilities for the various exam components. Directors of Education, Subject teachers, Center Managers, and Knec representatives oversaw the KCSE initiatives. Center managers, supervisors, invigilators, quality assurance officers, directors of education, and Knec officials oversaw the oral, practical, and theoretical exams.
Exams for the KCSE 2023 will be marked by Knec examiners in marking centers between November 27 and December 11. The results are released at the last stage, which is overseen by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu with help from representatives of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, Teachers Service Commission, Kenya National Examinations Council, and Ministry of Education. Results will be made public at Knec headquarters, Mitihani House, from December 16 to December 22, 2023.
This year’s national exams were administered by a total of 234,473 teachers who also served as test supervisors, invigilators, center managers, and exam markers. Although the results of the KCPE exam have already been made public, the KPSEA and KCSE exams are still being marked. Notably, 1,282,574 candidates took part in the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), while 1,415,315 candidates took the KCPE.
