Man shot for Killing 2 With Hammer
Kajiado County police in Loitokitok murdered a man who was suspected of killing two locals with a hammer.
The incident was confirmed by Loitokitok Police Commander David Maina Kabuthia, who said that the suspect was shot and killed while attempting to take a police car and use it as a getaway vehicle.
Kabuthia claims that the dead was carrying a hammer and was following the first victim to his home.
The deceased was said to have been killed instantly by a blow to the head inflicted by the suspect after he broke into one of his homes.
The victim’s children sent off an alarm after the occurrence, informing their neighbor, who lived 20 meters away, of the situation.
As the neighbor raced to the house, she discovered the suspect standing over the deceased and brandishing a primitive weapon.
Commander Kabuthia said that the neighbor also tried to escape but was apprehended by the suspect, who repeatedly hit him with the hammer, killing him instantly. The defendant refused to be taken into custody and pointed the gun at the investigators despite the demands of the frantic police officers who arrived on the site.
He then made an attempt to leave the situation by running towards a police car that was parked on the side of the road. The commander claimed that the cops opened fire, instantly killing him.
