The two best-performing county executives are Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga (70%) and Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya (70%) according to research firm Infotrak. The research firm stated in a report that was made public on Tuesday that survey respondents gave the two different rankings for service performance.
The top 5 were completed, in that order, by West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin (67%), Kisii Governor Simba Arati (64%), and Murang’a Governor Irungu Kang’ata (64%). According to the rating, first-term governors outperformed second-term ones by having important projects ready and underway when they were appointed by county executives.
A sample of 58,748 persons from all 47 counties participated in the study, known as the County Track study, which was carried out from July to September.Governors Gladys Wanga, who rose from position 45 to position 1, and her Trans Nzoia counterpart, George Natembeya, who climbed from position 42 to position 1, were among those ranked who had made improvements from their previous positions.
