In the current program, the State Department will offer 55,000 possibilities for foreign nationals to get green cards.Registration for the DV program is free of charge, however those chosen for an interview must pay a visa application fee before submitting a formal visa application, during which a consular official will decide whether they are eligible for the visa.

Passport All applicants must possess a current passport because an application requires a passport number. You must type your name exactly as it appears on your passport. Please put your names in the following order: last/family name, first name, middle name, if your passport has first, middle, and last names. Part of the statement said, “If you only have one name, you must enter it in the last/family name area. Your spouse and children are exempt from these conditions; only you, the lead applicant, must meet them.
Eligible nations
The agency has a list of 53 African nations whose citizens are eligible to apply for the program. The nations were chosen because they historically have low rates of immigration to the United States.However, if either your spouse or your parents are citizens of a nation that is already on the list, the government has provided an option for residents whose country is not included.

Candidates should visit a cyber or register online at the US State Department website. You must submit the entry electronically on the DV website and carry a passport-size photo, birth certificate, or other form of identification.It should be noted that numerous and incomplete entries will result in immediate disqualification.
