The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is in charge of the registration, recruitment, deployment, compensation, advancement, and disciplinary aspects of teacher management. The commission also has the responsibility of sustaining the teaching service’s high standards of professionalism, ethics, and instruction.Field agents and educational institution directors, who play crucial roles in managing teachers, carry out these duties.
It is crucial to properly choose, hire, and train people who are qualified for leadership roles inside educational institutions. This strategy is in line with the Commission’s vision, objectives, and social expectations, and as a result, educational institutions will perform better and there will be less discontent and unrest overall.
There are requirements that must be fulfilled in order to be qualified to run a post-primary institution. The Teachers Service Commission must engage Graduate Teachers, Technical Teachers, or Lecturers who have received professional training from an accredited university. These individuals should have demonstrated competence and ability in both classroom teaching and administration, possess a minimum job group M grade, and maintain a clean personal record.
