TSC Boss will go before the Senate for investigation
As information from KNUT becomes available, the TSC Boss will testify before the Senate. Education is a wonderful profession that is distinguished by instructors’ constant dedication and diligence. Teachers serve important roles within a country, mostly by educating and developing the abilities of their charges.
The critical tasks of finding, placing, and promoting talented teachers across the nation are handled by the Teachers Service Commission, a separate organization. Dr. Nancy Macharia is the commission’s chief executive officer at the moment.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC), according to reports from the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), has exhibited discrimination in the distribution of hardship payments in Taita Taveta County. All county teachers, according to KNUT’s appeal to the Senate, meet the requirements for collecting hardship compensation under Legal Notice No. 534 of 1997.
It’s noteworthy that, at the moment, only a small number of teachers in the aforementioned county are qualified for hardship payments.
To resolve the issues presented by KNUT’s Taita Taveta branch, it is imperative to closely examine the TSC leadership, in particular Dr. Nancy Macharia. The need for clarification and a solution to these problems cannot be overstated.
