Government Issues SMS Number, Guide to Check University, College Admissions
Kenya Universities and Colleges Central placement Service (KUCCPS) placement results for 2022 have been issued by CS Ezekiel Machogu. A total of 140,107 students were accepted into degree programs, while 144,500 were accepted into TVET colleges.Students could check their placement results via an SMS code of 20842, thanks to KUCCPS.
The education ministry revealed that of 870, 561 qualified candidates for placement into colleges and universities, only 285,698 applied for the places through the KUCCPS systems. Speaking on Monday, July 31, while releasing the placement results, Machogu said 140, 107, students were placed into degree programs. Additionally, 144, 500 students were placed into TVET institutions, with 560 applicants getting admission into Secondary Teacher Training Institutes.
According to the education ministry, only 285,698 qualified candidates for placement into colleges and universities applied through the KUCCPS systems, out of 870, 561 qualified candidates. Machogu announced the placement results on Monday, July 31, saying 140,107 students were placed into degree programs. Furthermore, 144,500 students were placed in TVET institutes, with 560 applications accepted into Secondary Teacher Training Institutes.
“A total of 9,673 applicants who qualified for degree courses chose to be placed in TVET institutions,” stated Machogu.
