The first-ever application for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) courses on the platform was announced by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) on Saturday, July 22.
Applications for medical courses are now being onboarded for the first time onto the KUCCPS systems.
The application period for the September 2023 semester will open on July 1, 2023, and it will finish on August 4, 2023.

Log in with your student information and use the application portal to submit an application for the specified course.
There are a variety of courses available, including certifications and diplomas.
Medical engineering, health records and information technology, orthopedic trauma medicine, community health, nutrition, and dietetics are among the certificate programs.
Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiography and Imaging, Health Counseling, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Community Health are a few of the diploma programs one can apply for.

According to KMTC’s requirements for admission to a diploma program, candidates must have earned a mean KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) grade of C, with particular grades in certain disciplines.
A C in biology, a C- in chemistry, and a minimum grade of C in English or Kiswahili are necessary. Candidates also need to have earned a C- in either physical sciences, physics, or math.
The particular entry requirements for certificate courses at KMTC vary depending on the program of interest. For instance, applicants for a certificate in public health must have a mean KCSE mark of C-. On the other hand, a mean grade of D+ is required to be qualified for the Nutrition and Dietetics certificate program.
